I heard a lot about this game before I actually played it. Mainly from Martin. He bought it a long time before I got my hands on it and he was always saying how much he liked it. So when it was on sale, he bought it for me and I really couldn't wait to start playing it.

Life is Strange is one of those episodic games, very annoying having to wait for new episodes to be released, but thankfully I only started playing after all five had been out for a while. The story follows Max, a senior who is very much in love with photography. Max soon finds out that she can change things by rewinding time. But things quickly go south as Max and her best friend Chloe try to find out what happened to a fellow student who mysteriously disappeared.

Okay even the synopsis of this game had me very intrigued. Straight away I thought it sounded pretty damn good! And I wasn't disappointed. The story in itself was just so good, I was literally hooked right from the beginning. And the whole being able to rewind time thing was so cool! It was pretty handy because if you were unsure of one choice you made, you could rewind time and choose another, just to see how different the consequences would be. Life is Strange is also one of those games that whatever choices and actions you do will change the course of your gameplay. And I adore games like that.

When I also found out Square Enix was the publisher, I got so excited. I'm a big fan of their games so I just knew straight off the bat that I would enjoy this.

As well as the exciting and incredible story, the graphics and scenery were amazing. The view of the town the girls are from, Arcadia Bay was so breathtaking, even though it was only in a game. The soundtrack is probably one of my favourite things about the entire game. Max is really into her music, always playing songs on her ipod and we got to hear them too. The entire soundtrack is just beautiful. I actually went and downloaded it when I completed the game!

You can get two different endings depending on the choices you make in the game too, so keep that in mind if you decided to play. I had to look up the other one I didn't get because I really wanted to see how it would have turned out if I chose something else. And let me tell you, both were amazing!

It's a simple platinum too if you're a trophy hunter. You get a trophy for completing each episode and then the rest of the trophies are just for taking different optional photos throughout the game.

Overall, Life is Strange has an incredibly written story, a beautiful soundtrack, stunning graphics, and it is a game that will stick with you for a long long time after you finish it. I wish I never played it before just so I could get to experience it all again for the first time.
